Windows XP

"learn a little about Microsoft windows XP operating system!"

Windows XP is Microsoft's flagship operating system. Will you have problems if you ever upgrade to windows xp.

Of course you will, this is the world of computers after all. Despite all the problems you can have with it, I still recommend it for a few reasons.

If you have an older Microsoft windows operating system, it may not be as secure as windows xp. Microsoft has made a few changes to windows xp that offer better security. This is the number one reason I recommend it.

Others reasons you may want to upgrade to windows xp are because it will make using some of your hardware a snap. Things like cd burners are easily picked up by windows xp and make installing and using them a snap.

You can also protect your files from prying eyes with the NTFS file system This file system allows your computer to be more secure. You can keep files from any other person in your family if you are afraid that they may change them and maybe even ruin them.

You can have different screen name logins for each member of your family also. This means you can stop your son from doing anything in your account that you don't want him to do maybe.

You can also stop others from installing programs you don't want them to install. Windows XP makes it simple. You just make sure every member of your family is using a limited account.

Windows XP makes thing so much more simple. Again though, if you think you won't have problems with it because it's newer technology, then you need to think again. It's a great operating system, however it is only that an operating system.

I highly recommend it though. You will be pleased. But, if you want to wait awhile longer to upgrade though, because Microsoft will be releasing their newest windows os, Windows vista. Will this one be even better. I don't know. We will have to wait and see.
